The Ecker Center for Mental Health
The Ecker Center for Mental Health provides services to adults with mental illness who live in the northern two-thirds of Kane County plus Barrington and Hanover Townships. Services include psychiatric care, medication and case management, recovery programs, supportive residences and psychotherapy. 24/7 crisis intervention is available through the Psychiatric Emergency Program located next to Sherman Hospital Emergency Department. Fees for service are based on a sliding scale according to income and family size. Medicaid and Medicare also will reimburse.

Family Counseling Service strengthens families through its programs of Behavioral Health, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring and Consumer Credit Counseling Services. The agency is fully accredited, offers services in Spanish and accepts most insurances.

Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area
We offer a full array of out-patient mental health services for children and adolescents that reside in School District U-46, Burlington or District #300. The agency is also the Screening Assessment and Support Service (SASS) provider for Kane and Kendall Counties. This program screens children and adolescents who are at imminent risk of needing to be hospitalized for psychiatric reasons that are wards of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, who are Medicaid eligible or who have no health insurance.

TriCity Family Services
TCFS
